Brunswick At Longstown COVID Information

We continue to have no reports of virus in the building. We continue to make weekly family calls, for any updates, concerns or just to check in. We are continuing to follow all the policies we have been in the previous weeks. We are still following the guidance of Department of Human Services and Department of Health for reopening and visitation guidelines. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

May 21, 2020 We continue to following CDC and Department of Health guidelines as York County moves into the yellow phase. Our day to day procedures and policies will continue as they have been in the last few weeks. Staff and resident's are being screened daily, wearing their masks and practicing safe social distancing. While visiting for a window visit, we ask that everyone follows our guidelines. All visits must be at the front windows, not the individual resident windows or back patio. All visitors must wear their mask and practice 6 feet social distancing. Please limit groups to no more than five people at a time. We have now installed plexiglass on the windows to ensure safe visits. We are still only scheduling emergency appointments only. We are still case free. Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

We continue to have no known positive cases in the facility. We continue to follow all the guidelines we have been for the past several weeks. The newest policy we started was handling packages and outside food. We continue to isolate all items being delivered to facility for 24 hours. When dropping off items please make sure they are marked with their name on them. If you are dropping off medication or items that need refrigerated please communicate that with us so we can make sure they are cared for properly. We appreciate all the encouraging words and appreciation during this time. We will continue to make updates here and as well as weekly calls.
